About Tuesday

Hi, my name is Tuesday. here is my story ….

My Yoga Journey started 10 years ago when I started to take regular yoga classes for my mental well-being. i suffered a lot with self-esteem and self-worth for so many years due to being dyslexic. I never in my wildest dreams could have thought it would have taken me to where i am now. A journey of spiritual growth, love, and acceptance.  My practice has made me more aware of myself, others, and the world we live in.

I decided one day that I wanted to leave my job in the city and travel to India to deepen my understanding and knowledge of yoga. Ever since then it’s been a journey of love, strength, joy and mental challenges. I feel like every step brought me to this moment. From studying the traditional styles of yoga to now coming into more flow and an embodied practice. As iv grown into my practice and offerings, my teaching style is an extension of my personal practice — passionate, deliberate, sincere, conscious, and loving. Mainly focusing on self-love and embodied movement. I encourage my students to let go of judgment and embrace themselves. My goal is to remind you to honour your body as it’s always telling you what it needs. My class is a time for celebration of self and your practice, creating fluidity in movement, breath, and meditation to help each student practice their unique form of yoga. To come back to the wisdom of the body and learn to embody your yoga practice.

Yoga for me is a path that reveals the deepest of life’s secrets, a knowledge about the Divine, a path to be known through true self-knowledge, an illuminating light that has been passed down through the centuries. For it is not the lithe muscles nor the youthful countenance that is yoga’s real power. Instead, the intoxicating nectar of yoga is your ability to use this ancient technique to connect to the deepest and most powerful part of yourself and find lasting peace.

My embodiment movement journey is a full circle moment. On the journey of embodiment, I explore the language of the body, which speaks in sensations, emotions, and intuitive movements. Rather than adhering strictly to preset sequences, I invite you to listen to what your body craves in each moment. It’s about honoring your unique story and the physical sensations that arise within you. This approach encourages a deeper connection with yourself, fostering self-acceptance and nurturing the parts of you that may have been overlooked or silenced. I believe that movement can be a profound catalyst for transformation. It allows us to release old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve us, making way for new possibilities. As we engage in a somatic journey, you will learn to cultivate a deeper sense of awareness and presence, which can extend beyond the mat and into your everyday life.

My journey with holistic therapies only began recently, I had a calling to help people on their healing journey. A Lomi Lomi spiritual massage is like no other. The only way to describe it is to great to put into words. People have told me that it is like nothing they have ever experienced. The style of Lomi Lomi i have learnt is Temple style, which is more shamanic. In the practice of this bodywork, I have come to understand that healing is not just about addressing physical discomfort but also about nurturing the emotional and spiritual aspects of a person. Each session is a sacred ritual, where I aim to create a safe and loving environment that encourages deep relaxation and inner exploration. I feel as we journey through this process, it's essential to cultivate a sense of trust and openness. The beauty of Lomi Lomi is that it is not just a passive experience; it is an active collaboration between you and me. Your willingness to engage with the process can enhance the depth of your healing.
